The 32 Mile DARTMOOR 'DISCOVERY' ROAD RACE is set within the scenic Dartmoor National Park and is a one-lap circuit, starting and finishing in the village of Princetown.

The route is via Two Bridges, Dartmeet, Poundsgate, New Bridge, Ashburton, Buckland in the Moor, Widecombe in the Moor, Postbridge and back to Princetown by way of Two Bridges.

The course is challenging with a few tough hills, but not too difficult overall, as there are plenty of downhills as well!!

Due to the length of this race and the undulating course, it is NOT an event for novices. You will need some years of running background and training over longer distances including some experience of training for and running a Marathon or similar distance race. If you are interested, start building up your mileage now and do regular long training runs each week.

To run an ULTRA you have to make the commitment.
